Specification for an Highpass LC Filter

I. General & Electrical Requirements

1. Corner Frequency (F_ON): 1215MHz

2. Passband: 1215MHz to 1400MHz

3. Passband Insertion Loss: ≤ 0.7dB

4. Passband VSWR: ≤ 1.4:1

5. Passband Phase Linearity: ≤ 9

6. Rejection (Minimum, Relative to Insertion Loss)

35dB: 960MHz to 1100MHz

7. Signal Level: ≤ -16dBm CW, ≤ +51dBm 2msec pulsed 40% duty cycle

8. Z_S/Z_L: 50Ω nominal

Note: The filter shall meet all performance requirements over the full operating temperature range (-40C to +85C)

II. Environmental & Physical Requirements:

1. Temperature Range

Operating: -40C to +85C

Non-Operating: -55C to +125C

2. Altitude:

Operating: Sea Level to 10,000-ft

Non-Operating: Sea Level to 40,000-ft

3. Humidity: 0 to 100% Relative Humidity

4. Salt Atmosphere: Per MIL-STD-810F, Method 521.2

5. Vibration: Per MIL-STD-810F, Method 514.5,

Category 4, 6, 11, 17, 18 & 21, Procedure I, II & IV

6. Shock: Per MIL-STD-810F, Method 516.5,

Procedure I (Functional) & VII (Rail)

7. Temperature Cycling: Per MIL-STD-883, Method 1010.8, Test Condition B

8. Materials and Finish: Non-nutrient to fungus and non-corrosive in the specified application environment
