CardBus I
Eject Header Series
Product Description
FCI’s CardBus I Eject headers feature a “modular
design” in either a single-deck or double-deck
configuration. This unique CardBus series has an
innovative design that utilizes a vertical transition
board on the header that simply plugs into a surface
mount (SMT) board receptacle. This allows customers
to have a full surface mount cardbus eject header
solution with up to 5.0mm standoff capability on
either a single or double deck configuration. FCI’s
CardBus I series is excellent for high-signal
transmission applications requiring greater bandwidth
(32-bit), higher clock rate (33 MHz), and enhanced
grounding for minimizing crosstalk.
• Provides modular add-on / removal
• Stand-off options allow for additional component
real estate on the PCB
Features
• Eject header module plugs into board-mounted
SMT receptacle
• Provides excellent electrical performance
• High contact reliability
• Compact size and small footprint consume minimal
board space
• Easy process as only the 0.8mm centerline
BergStak™ connector (P/N 73277-101000) is
soldered to the PC Board
