SINGLE-CHANNEL AUDIO

AUDIO

• One-Way Audio Over a Single Fiber.

• Bandwidth 20 Hz to 18 kHz.

• THD < 3%.

• SNR 50 dB.

• Balanced or Unbalanced 600 Ohm Audio.

• For Multimode Fiber.

• Optical AGC Circuitry.

• Diagnostic Indicators: Level/Loss and

Audio Status LEDs.

• ST Optical Ports.

• Modular Units or Rack Cards.

Systems in the 310B series provide reliable voice-grade transmission of audio signals in most applications.

Incorporating AGC circuitry, the system does not require field adjustment. A unique two-color LED at the

transmitter end indicates input audio level and clipping. The basic characteristics of fiber — no hum or

pick-up, no interference from electromagnetic fields or radio frequencies, and no possibility of ground

loop interference since fiber is not an electrical conductor — ensure that the quality requirements of

intercoms, paging, and public address systems are met.
