2.65W Mono CLASS-D Audio Power Amplifier

DESCRIPTION

The EMT7026 is a Mono CLASS-D power amplifier designed for cellular phone applications,

maximum output power can reach up to 2.65W(VDD=5V,RL=4Ω，THD=10%) and 1.2W (VDD =

5V, RL = 8Ω，THD = 1%).The uniquely designed class D system structure and circuits by Eastmicro

Technology, along with the most advanced mixed signal CMOS process technology, provide a

product with high efficiency (>86%) low distortion and high reliability. EMT7026’s external circuitry

is simple and easily accessible, and consists of flawless self-protection capabilities. The chip’s

packaging is small, thus it occupies an insignificant amount of space on the circuit board; therefore,

making it the predominant choice when it comes to cellular phone audio amplifiers.

•Ultra low quiescent current 2.3mA

• Operating voltage range from 2.7V up to 5.5V

• THD+N =0.06% @5V, 8 Ohm load, Po=400mW

• Maximum output power 2.65W(4 ꢀ ) @ THD=10%

• Output low-pass LC filter is not required

• Voltage gain determined by the external resistor

• Contains shutdown function

• POP noises free in shutdown and power ON/OFF period

• Built-in short circuit protection

• Built-in overheat protection

• High efficiency (88%), low heat dissipation
