2.7 W/CH STEREO FILTER-FREE CLASS-D AUDIO POWER AMPLIFIER EMT8026

DESCRIPTION

The EMT8026 is a stereo, filter-free, Class-D audio amplifier (class-D amp) designed for cell

phone and portable equipments. It is available in QFN package. The EMT8026 features

independent shutdown controls for each channel. The gain can be selected utilizing the external

resistor. In addition to these features, Unique Pop-click noise depression circuit and enhanced ESD

design make the EMT8026 class-D amp an ideal choice for both cellular handsets and PDAs.

The EMT8026 is capable of driving 1.65 W/Ch at 5 V or 840 mW/Ch at 3.6 V into 8 Ω load.

The EMT8026 is also capable of driving 4 Ω. The EMT8026 provides thermal and short circuit

protection for higher reliability.
