PPL are constructed with polypropylene film
dielectricꢂ tinned copper leadsꢂ and an epoxy resin
coating. They exhibit comparatively lower dielectric
absorption and significantly lower temperature
variation in electrostatic capacitance. PPL possess a
high insulation resistance and are therefore ideal
for use in circuits wherein great importance is
placed on Q factorꢂ e.g. in RF circuits and
computers.
