Ioff protection circuitry of analog inputs/outputs
The NMUX1309 implements Ioff protection circuitry on the analog switch pins, isolating those pins
from the internal circuits when the supply is unpowered (i.e., VCC = 0 V). The ESD protection
diodes on the analog switch pins do not have a connection path to VCC. If the analog switch pins
are biased when the VCC pin is unpowered:
1. The high impedance of the analog pins minimizes input current leakage.
2. The isolation between the analog pins and the VCC pin ensures no back-powering to the supply
rail.
3. The high impedance of the analog switch path itself minimizes signal coupling across the
switch.
