25 V/25 mA PFM Step−Up

DC−DC Converter

The NCP1406 is a monolithic PFM step−up DC−DC converter.

This device is designed to boost single Lithium or two cells AA/AAA

battery voltage up to 25 V (with internal MOSFET) output for

handheld applications. A pull−up Chip Enable feature is built−in

with this device to extend battery−operating life. Besides, this device

can also be incorporated in step−down and voltage−inverting

configurations. This device is available in space−saving TSOP−5

package.
