SPECIFICATIONS (PRELIMINARY):  
AC Input  
80-270Vac, 47-63Hz single phase.  
Environmental  
Designed for 0 to 50°C operation at full rated output power; derate  
output current and total output power by 2.5% per °C above 50°C. See  
Environmental and Packaging Specifications (p. 11) for additional  
information.  
Input Current  
Active input circuitry ensures compliance with IEC1000-3-2, Class A.  
Maximum input current at minimum input and full load is 3.0A.  
Thermal Shutdown  
Inrush Current  
Provided as a standard feature to protect unit from prolonged  
overtemperature.  
Inrush is limited by internal thermistors. Inrush at 240Vac, averaged over  
first AC half-cycle under cold start conditions, will not exceed 37A.  
Worst-case current under hot start conditions will be 60A (assumes 2-  
sec. delay for power-on).  
Fan Output  
An additional 12VDC, 250mA output suitable for powering a DC fan is  
included in all models ( Factory installed cover with fan makes this output  
unavailable). The output is protected by an internal PTC in the event of an  
overload.  
Input Protection  
Internal AC fuse provided on all units.  
Holdup Time  
25ms minimum from loss of AC input at full load.  
Overshoot  
Less than 2% overshoot at turn-on under nominal conditions, inversely  
proportional to input voltage and temperature. Less than 2% overshoot at  
turn-off under all conditions.  
Inhibit  
Inhibit signal is pulled to the V1 output common to reduce average output  
voltage to less than 5% of nominal.  
Turn-on Time  
Power Fail  
Less than 1.2s at 115Vac, 25ºC (inversely proportionate to input voltage  
and thermistor temperature).  
TTL/CMOS compatible output goes low (<0.5V) 8ms before output  
voltage drops more than 4% below nominal upon loss of AC power.  
EMI/EMC Compliance  
All models include built-in EMI filtering to meet the following emissions  
requirements:

TTL/CMOS compatible output goes high more than 100ms after V1  
reaches undervoltage threshold, and should ensure that sufficient energy  
is stored in the input section to provide normal power fail/ shutdown.

Output Power  
Continuous rating is 130W with unrestricted natural convection, or 150W  
with forced convection. All models capable of 110% of rated power for  
60 sec., 10% duty cycle maximum.  
Leakage Current  
50µ under normal conditions (132Vac @ 60Hz). Maximum under single-  
fault conditions (254Vac @ 50Hz) is 90µA. Patient sink leakage with  
120Vac, 60Hz applied to any output is less than 500µA.  
Remote Sense  
Provided as a standard feature.  
Overload Protection  
Fully protected against short circuit and output overload. Short circuit  
protection is cycling type power limit.

Condor Gold Series power supplies have undergone rigorous review and  
design analysis. The following documentation is available upon request:

1. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)  
2. MTBF study  
3. Worst Case Analysis of output performance and signals  
4. DVT data  
0.5% RMS, 1% Pk-Pk, 20MHz Bandwidth, differential mode. Measured  
with noise probe directly across output terminals of the power supply.  
Voltage Adjustment  
Factory set to specified voltage and tolerance with user adjustable  
potentiometer. User can adjust at least ±5% of nominal output voltage.  
Consult factory for application assistance.
