In the case where the board temperature is known, use the

thermal characterization parameter, Ψ_JB, to estimate the

junction temperature rise. Maximum junction temperature (T_J)

is calculated from the board temperature (T_B) and power

dissipation (P_D) using the following formula:

T_J= T_B+ (P_D× Ψ_JB)
