DESCRIPTION:
FEATURES:
The LVC4245A is manufactured using advanced dual metal CMOS
• 0.5 MICRON CMOS Technology
• VCCA = 5V ± 0.5V
technology.This octalnoninvertingbus transceivercontains twoseparate
supplyrails; BporthasVCCB,whichissetat3.3V,andAporthasVCCA,which
issetat5V. Thisallowsfortranslationfroma3.3Vtoa5Venvironment,and
vice-versa.
Thisdeviceisidealforasynchronouscommunicationbetweentwobuses
(AandB).Thedirectioncontrolpin(DIR)controls thedirectionofdataflow.
Theoutputenablepin(OE)overridesthedirectioncontrolanddisablesboth
ports.Allinputs are designedwithhysteresis forimprovednoise margin.
The LVC4245A has been designed with a ±24mA output driver. This
driver is capable of driving a moderate to heavy load while maintaining
speedperformance.
• VCCB = 2.7V to 3.6V
• CMOS power levels (0.4μ W typ. static)
• Rail-to-rail output swing for increased noise margin
• All inputs, outputs, and I/O are 5V tolerant
• Supports hot insertion
• Available in SOIC, SSOP, QSOP, and TSSOP packages
