DESCRIPTION:
FEATURES:
TheLVC162244A16-bitbuffer/driverisbuiltusingadvanceddualmetal
CMOS technology. The LVC162244A is designed specifically to improve
boththeperformanceanddensityof3-statememoryaddressdrivers,clock
drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. The device can be
usedasfour4-bitbuffers,two8-bitbuffers,orone16-bitbuffer. Thisdevice
provides true outputs and symmetrical active-low output-enable (OE)
inputs.
• Typical tSK(o) (Output Skew) < 250ps
• ESD > 2000V per MIL-STD-883, Method 3015; > 200V using
machine model (C = 200pF, R = 0)
• VCC = 3.3V ± 0.3V, Normal Range
• VCC = 2.7V to 3.6V, Extended Range
• CMOS power levels (0.4μ W typ. static)
• All inputs, outputs, and I/O are 5V tolerant
• Available in SSOP and TSSOP packages
All pins of this 16-bit buffer/driver can be driven from either 3.3V or 5V
devices. Thisfeatureallowstheuseofthedeviceasatranslatorinamixed
3.3V/5V supply system.
The LVC162244A has series resistors in the device output structure
which will significantly reduce line noise when used with light loads. This
driver has been developed to drive ±12mA at the designated threshold
levels.
