The 4CX20,000B is intended for use as a Class C

RF power ampliﬁer in AM broadcast service, for

use as a push-pull audio ampliﬁer or modulator,

or as a pulse modulator. The anode is rated for 20

kW dissipation and incorporates a highly efﬁcient

cooler of new design, which signiﬁcantly reduces

air pressure and ﬂow requirements and produces

low acoustical noise.
