Z Series

Low Voltage, High Efficiency

Radiation Hardened DC/DC Converters

DESCRIPTION

FEATURES

The Z series of DC/DC converter modules has

been specifically designed in response to the need

for low voltage at moderate current levels furnished

with the high efficiencies specified by modern digital

processing applications. These converters have

been designed specifically for operation in radiation

environments that are presented to commercial

communication satellites. They are provided as a

complement to the broad electrical and radiation

performance available in the Advanced Analog

The Z-Series has been designed for high density

combining chip and wire hybrids with surface mount

techniques utilizing the best of each technology.

The hybrid product will be fabricated in a facility

fully qualified to MIL-PRF-38534. The standard

processing adopted for the Z-Series has been

created to assure with adequate margin the
