Model 5815 is a miniature RF Detector Probe
intended for use with wide range of
a
oscilloscopes. These probes are very useful for
measuring RF signals up to 800 MHz. They
provide an output of 1 VDC for an input of
1 VRMS sinewave. Points to Obtain Optimum
Performance: Where possible, the probe should
be connected to the test point using the BNC
adapter supplied to minimize the VSWR; If the
ground connection cannot be made using the
BNC adapter, connect the ground lead as close
as possible to the test point to minimize stray
inductance. Where possible, take measurements
from low impedance parts of the circuit to
minimize loading effect of the probe.
