Pericom Semiconductors PI74LPT series of logic circuits are pro-

duced in the Companys advanced 0.6 micron CMOS technology,

achieving industry leading speed grades.

Output can be 3V or connected to 5V bus

Advanced Low Power CMOS Operation

Excellentoutputdrivecapability:

ThePI74LPT16244isa16-bitbuffer/linedriverdesignedfor driving

highcapacitivememoryloads.Withitsbalanced-drivecharacteristics,

this high-speed, low power device provides lower ground bounce,

transmission line matching of signals, fewer line reflections and

lowerEMIandRFIeffects. Thismakesitidealfordrivingon-board

buses and transmission lines. This device is designed with three-

statecontrolstooperateinaQuad-Nibble,Dual-Byte,orasingle16-

bit word mode.

Balanced drives (24 mA sink and source)

Pin compatible with industry standard double-density

pinouts

Low ground bounce outputs

Hysteresis on all inputs

Industrial operating temperature range: 40°C to +85°C

Multiple center pins and distributed Vcc/GND pins
