DSF, Subminiature, Polyester Metallized, Radial Leads
ESRD,
Type DSF film capacitors are made with stacked metallized
polyester, resulting in high volumetric efficiency and a very
economical solution for general purpose DC applications.
Ideally suited for blocking, by-pass, coupling, decoupling, and filtering circuits.
Specifically designed for applications where high density insertion of components is
required. Operating Temperature: Ð40¡C to +85¡C. Rated Voltage: 50-100 Vdc.
Capacitance: 0.1 µF to 2.2 µF. Capacitance Tolerance: ±5%. Dielectric Strength:
150%. Dissipation Factor: 1% max. Insulation Resistance: 3,000 M½ min. xµF;
1000 M min. Life Test: 1000 hours @ 85¡C, 125% rated voltage.
Ultra-Low ESR,
Polymer Chip, 105¡C
Type ESRD capacitors are ideal for high-frequency filtering in
surface mount technology power supplies and DC/DC converters.
Ñ NEW Ñ
One Type ESRD chip can replace several aluminum or tantalum
capacitors connected in parallel and are packaged in a low profile
case (7.3 ´ 4.3 ´ 1.8 mm) with the same footprint as the industry standard tantalum ÒDÓ case size. Polymer aluminum
capacitors have stable impedance and equivalent series resistance over the operating temperature range (Ð55 to +105 ¡C)
and more than twice the ripple current handling capability of tantalum capacitors. Operating Temperature: Ð55¡C to
+105¡C @ 100% rated voltage. Rated Voltage: 4.0, 6.3, 8.0, 12.5 and 16 VDC. Capacitance: 2.2 µF to 56 µF. Capacitance
Tolerance: +20% at 120 Hz. Leakage Current: 4 VDC ratings Ñ ²0.06 CV; 6.3 thru 16 VDC ratings Ñ ²0.04 CV or
3.0 µA if greater. Life Test: 1000 hours @ 105¡C with rated voltage. Shelf Life Test: 500 hours @ 105¡C. Tape and reel
available upon request.

Dipped Mica Dielectric Capacitors
Dipped Mica Dielectric Capacitors in miniature styles (CD6 and CD7) use in delay lines
and IF transformers. Other styles are larger and higher rated capacitors. All types
feature a dipping process to impart high moisture and humidity resistance. All leads
are copper weld for improved solderability. They are available in a wide range of sizes
and ratings to meet application requirements. Units are marked with Manufacturers
name or symbol, nominal capacitance in pF and percent tolerance, and DC working
voltage. Miniature units (CD6 and CD7) are marked with capacitance in pF and
tolerance letter designation. All have operating temperature range of Ð55¡C to
+125¡C.

Type DME radial-leaded, mini-dipped capacitors feature significant size reduction
and performance characteristics comparable to other film capacitors that are in
larger case sizes. Improvements in film technology permit the use of thinner
dielectric and make this series ideal for applications where space is at a premium
or tape and reeling is required. Metallized dielectric provides self-healing
characteristics that help prevent shorts due to high voltage transient. Operating
Temperature: Ð55¡C to +125¡C (Full rated volts @ +85¡C, derate linearly to 50%
rated voltage @ +125¡C). Capacitance Tolerance: ±10% (K) standard, ±5% (J)
optional. Dielectric Strength: 150%. Dissipation Factor: 1% max. Insulation
Resistance: 3,000 M xµF; 9000 M min. Life Test: 1000 hours @ +85¡C @ 125%
rated voltage.
