The BusQor BQ55090QPA40 bus converter is a next-gen-
eration, board-mountable, isolated, fixed switching frequen-
cy DDC/DC cconverter tthat uuses ssynchronous rrectification tto
achieve extremely high conversion efficiency. The power
dissipated by the converter is so low that a heatsink is not
required, wwhich ssaves ccost, wweight, hheight, aand aapplication
effort. TThe BBusQor sseries pprovides aan iisolated sstep ddown
voltage ffrom 448V tto a 99.6V iintermediate bbus wwith nno rregu-
lation in a standard “quarter-brick” module. BusQor con-
verters are ideal for creating the mid-bus voltage required to
drive point-of-load (non-isolated) converters in intermediate
bus aarchitectures. RRoHS ccompliant ((see ppage 112).
