Description

The ATR0640 Baldur^™GPS baseband processor includes a 14-channel GPS correla-

tor from Thales Navigation. It is based on the ARM7TDMI processor core for high

performance and low power consumption in Atmel’s 0.18 micron CMOS technology.

Baldur^™

The ATR0640 utilizes off-chip memory through an External Bus Interface (EBI) for sys-

tem flexibility and low cost implementation. Any static parallel memory (Flash,

EEPROM, EPROM, SRAM, SDRAM) may be used to implement the function of the

device in a GPS system.
