Molex offers a wide range of ultra small microSD connectors
The microSD flash memory format is the smallest in the world, and saves
about 70% of space versus miniSD products. These connectors are designed
for cell phones and other mobile devices that use removable flash memory to
store data such as text, photos, games, video and audio. Molex’s line-up
includes push-push types in normal mount; a hinge-type for easy top-entry
insertion; and a block-type for simple push-pull operation. The microSD
standard has evolved from the previous TransFlash standard. All of Molex’s
previous TransFlash connectors have been tested to accept the new microSD
cards.
