Momentary action 0.750" (19.05) membrane switches for mounting on front panels or PC boards.

Flexible polyester foil in various colors. Bezel in black (also available in other color combinations). Ultra

low profile 0.157" (4.00) above board. Rated: 125 mA @ 48 volts maximum. Foil Color: .97 Ñ Black;

.93 Ñ Red; .95 Ñ Green. Chrome-plated steel snap dome, gold plated on contact side.

Ideal for chassis mounting, with solder terminals, or for PC board mounting. Figures 1 and 2 have two

voltage positions, 110 V, and 220 V. SWM type (not shown) has three selections, 110/150/220 V; easily

set by screwdriver or coin. For series-parallel or step transformer connections. Figures 1 and 2 rated

6.3 A/250 V. UL recognized, CSA certified, SEMKO, SEV and VDE approved. SWM rated 10 A/250 V

UL/CSA; 6.3 A/250 V, VDE, SEMKO and SEV.

Vandal Proof, Piezo Electronic and Electro-mechanical Pushbutton Switches

SchurterÕs vandal-proof and explosion-proof PSE switch series uses a switching element in which a

piezo disk is used as a sensor to transform mechanical force into an electrical voltage. Unlike mechanical

switching, piezo switches are fully electronic and do not break down over time. Rated Lifetime:

>15-20 million operations. No external power is required. The release of the signal can result by use of

any object, conductive or not, on the actuator, i.e. finger, pencil, tool, etc. and will only react once the

specified amount of pressure is applied. ÒEXÓ version meets ignition protection requirements of EN

50020 for intrinsic safety. It is designed for use in potentially explosive environments (ib IIc T4).The

non-mechanical, contact free switching system eliminates the hazard of mechanical ignition.

Switches are normally open and are available in anodized aluminum, chromium plated brass and high-

grade steel, point or ring illumination. Operating Temperature Range: Ð25¡C to +60¡C, except for the

ÒeTÓ for extreme temperatures Ð40¡C to +85¡C. IP Rating: 67. Versions MCS and LDT with electro-

mechanical switching for lower cost. Lifetime: MCS Ñ >10⁶operations; LDT Ñ 10⁵operations.

Terminals are quick disconnect or pins. Other housings, colors, sizes and functions available. Housings

with LED indication only and no switching element also available.
