LAND PORTABLE BGAN TERMINAL

The Harris RF-7800B-DU024 Land Portable Broadband Global Area

Network (BGAN) Terminal provides high-speed SATCOM capabilities

to dismount forces. When paired with the Harris Falcon III^®Manpack

Vehicular Ampliﬁer Adapter, the terminal extends the range of wideband

networks beyond the limitations of ground-based Line-Of-Sight (LOS)

communications. This Class 2 global connectivity solution is MIL-STD

ruggedized for top performance in extreme conditions.

High-speed IP data rates up to 492 kbps

This Harris Land Portable BGAN Terminal

features a system of manually pointed

antennas engineered for military

applications but is also appropriate for

rapid deployment by law enforcement,

homeland security or disaster-relief

operations. When used with the Harris

Falcon III^®AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C) or

RF-7800M-MP manpacks, the terminal

harnesses ANW2^®C ad-hoc networking

capabilities to automatically route

between mobile wideband LOS and

Beyond-Line-Of-Sight communication nodes.

This, along with increased data

throughput capabilities of up to two

Mbps over an INMARSAT satellite, helps

users better manage subscriber time

and related costs.

The Harris RF-7800B-DU024 is

engineered for quick set up and

operation. Users can conﬁgure,

remotely control and provide status

and fault monitoring for the terminal

using the front panel of Harris Falcon III
