WIDE BAND VCO

Fe a t u re s

This series proposes wide band VCO:

• bandwidth:

from 20% up to the octave

• frequency range: 140 MHz to 2700 MHz

• phase noise:

as low as -113 dBc @ 12.5 kHz from the carrier

De s c rip t io n

Wide band VCOs are required in Radio Links, instrum entation and m ilitary

applications. Their bandwidth (BW) and phase noise perform ances avoid the

use of bank of switched VCO: design is sim pler and cost lower.Tuning voltage

depends on the BW, typically 0 to 5 V and up to 18 V for octave BW VCO.

Power output is up to 7 dBm .
