5 Reasons To Specify the

Cooper Bussmann CUBEFuse^™

1. IP-20 Finger-Safe

The Cooper Bussmann CUBEFusemodule is the world’s

first finger-safe industrial power fuse. All CUBEFuse

components, including the fuse, fuse base and wire

ports, are IP-20 Finger-safe, and IEC 60529 and

NFPA 70E compliant.

2. Small Footprint

The CUBEFuse footprint is the smallest of any power

class fuse on the market. The compact design allows for

3-pole, 30A, 60A and 100A assemblies to be placed in

less space, while maintaining UL Class J time-delay

performance.

3. Class J Performance

The CUBEFusemodule meets Class J time-delay

electrical performance for UL/CSA. It has a high interrupting

rating, 300kA, and a voltage rating of 600Vac and 300Vdc.

The current-limiting performance of a properly sized

CUBEFuse unit offers Type 2 (IEC 947-4-1), no damage

coordinated motor starter protection.

4. Versatility

The CUBEFusebase dovetail feature allows 30A, 60A and

100A fuse bases to be ganged together. Fuse bases can be

snapped onto a 35mm DIN rail or mounted directly to the panel.

Eliminating the need for fuse reducers, a 30A CUBEFuse fuse

can be inserted into a 60A and 100A base, and a 60A

CUBEFuse fuse can be inserted in a 100A base.

5. easyID Indication

The CUBEFuse module features easyID

technology—a permanent replacement fuse indicator

that assists in identifying an open fuse. Qualified individuals

can then analyze the cause of the open circuit and quickly

make the necessary replacements.
