specifications assume +V_Sconnected to +V_Land –V_Sconnected to –V_L. If supplies are connected separately, –V_Lmust not be more negative than –V_Ssupply voltage

to assure proper operation. No similar restriction applies to the value of +V_Lwith respect to +V_S.
