Functional Description

The following designators 1~6 refer to the timing diagram below.

1. While the input voltage (V_IN) is higher than the detect voltage (V_DF), the V_OUToutput pin is at high impedance

state.

2. When the input V_INvoltage falls lower than V_DF, V_OUTdrops near to ground voltage

3. If the input voltage further decreases below the minimum operating voltage (V_MIN), the V_OUToutput becomes

unstable. In this condition, if the V_OUTpin is pulled up, V_OUTindicates the V_INvoltage.

4. During an increase of the input voltage from the V_SSvoltage, V_OUTis not stable in the voltage below the V_MIN

Exceeding that level, the output stays at the ground level (V_SS) between the minimum operating voltage (V_MIN

)

and the detect release voltage (V_DR).

5. If the input voltage increases more than V_DR, then the V_OUToutput pin is at high impedance state.

6. The difference between V_DRand V_DFis the hysteresis in the system.
