Pin Descriptions

Name

Description

Charge Current Output. Provides charge current to the battery an regulates the

final float voltage to 4.2, 4.35V and 4.4V.

BAT

No connected.

Open-Drain Charge Status Output. When the battery is charging, the CHGb pin is

pulled low. When the charge cycle is completed or VCC is removed, the CHGb is

forced high impedance.

CHGb

GND

Ground.

Charge current setting, charge current monitor and shutdown pin. The charging

current is given by I_BAT= (1/R_PROG)*250. The chip will be shut down when PROG

pin floating.
