A com plete em bedded Internet solution

The Mixed-Signal Z183 Webserver com bines a high-per-

form ance em bedded processor with a turnkey Internet

software suite. On-chip TCP/IP protocols work in conjunc-

tion with a physical layer interface to enable connectivity

in a wide gam ut of applications. By taking advantage of

this system -on-a-chip solution, you can concentrate on

developing applications instead of integrating stacks and

testing functionality and interoperability.

Offers pow er and perform ance

Like all Z180 class products, the Z80S183 contains the

popular Z8S180 m icroprocessor. This CPU im proves the

Z80 execution efficiency while still providing full backward

com patibility with existing ZiLOG Z80 devices. It offers

faster execution speeds, EMI noise reduction, and power-

saving m odes. Not only does the core consum e less

power during norm al operations, it contains six low-

power m odes to reduce power consum ption even m ore.

• 8 channel10-bit A/D at 500 Ksps

The Z80S183 can enhance the perform ance of a broad

range of products. Applications include cash registers,

electronic banking and gam ing, gas m eters, industrial

and m otor controls, m usical instrum ents, factory

autom ation, and alarm system s.

• 8-bit program m able output generator (POG)

• 2K SRAM for program and variable space

• 1K boot ROM w/FLASH support

• Real-tim e clock w/calendar and alarm

• Watch-dog tim er

• Edge/level triggered interrupt controller

• Wait state generator
