The Brad^®Micro-Change^®M12 Heavy-Duty Ethernet

System achieves high-speed data link rates up to 10/100

Mbps, exceeds standard M12 connector pull-force strength

10-fold and is designed based on the J2839 speciﬁcation

Brad^®Micro-Change^®Heavy-Duty Ethernet cordsets and receptacles are

designed for use in harsh environments with wide temperature variations.

Molex is ﬁrst to offer both HDM12 and HDM12EX connectors. The M12-style

cordsets are ideal for high-speed Ethernet networks. The sturdy design

ensures the connectors will withstand high-vibration levels in chassis

applications.

Micro-Change Heavy-Duty High-Speed Ethernet cordsets are heavy-duty

versions of standard Micro-Change connectors and receptacles.

Molex was an integral participant in the Society of Automotive Engineering

(SAE) committee, which deﬁned the J2839 standard for a rugged and robust

connector for heavy-duty and off-highway vehicles.

The standard deﬁnes the performance requirements, size and mating

interfaces for M12 style 4- and 5-pole heavy-duty, high-speed data-link

connection systems.
