Criteria for the selection of cable glands Type ADE

ꢀ Define the installation area, in which you want to use the glands

ꢀ Define the cable types to determine the requested functions

ꢀ Check the dimensions of the outer cable sheath

ꢀ Check the size and type of reinforcement

ꢀ Check the dimensions of the inner cable sheath

ꢀ Check the dimensions of the lead sheath

ꢀ Determine the environmental condition

ꢀ Check the accessories

Installation instructions for endangered areas in accordance with the Standards CENELEC EN 50014 - 50018 - 50019

ꢀ Increased safety to Standard EN 50019; direct thread insertion into the enclosure or with a lock nut.

Unused insertions have to be closed with a certified stopping plug.

ꢀ Flame protected in accordance with EN 50018; direct thread insertion into the enclosure with five full pitches (approx. 8 mm);
