DEVICE DESCRIPTION

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Th e ZXFV4 0 8 9 is

a DC r e s t o r in g c ir c u it a n d

•

Various TV system s, PAL, NTSC, SECAM

low-distortion video am plifier. It is specially designed

to provide brightness level stability as a ‘black-level

clam p’ in video system s with very low distortion and

low power consum ption.

Buffered output using high quality video am plifier

Gain is set using two external resistors

On chip sam ple/hold capacitor

300 MHz bandwidth

A high fidelity video am plifier is com bined with a

sam ple-hold switch circuit using an external coupling

capacitor to provide level-shifting of the video output

such that a tim e-gated sam ple of the waveform is set to

be equal to an external reference voltage (usually zero

voltage). A buffered TTL/CMOS logic input signal

controls the switch.

0.02% differential gain

0.02° differential phase

The gain is set externally by two resistors.

+/-5V supply operation

In a typical application, the sam ple-hold circuit is gated

on during part of the back-porch interval of an analog

vid e o w a ve fo rm . Th e n th e vid e o w a ve fo rm is

stabilised for the rem ainder of the line-scan interval.
