General description
WLC1150 is a highly integrated wireless power transmitter, ideal for 50W charging applications. The IC works in
Infineon high power proprietary protocol mode to deliver 50W power. WLC1150 offers a cost-effective solution
for various applications up to 50W output power, by addressing critical system needs of high-power application,
like thermal, EMI, foreign object detection (FOD), high efficiency and inverter control, and so on.
WLC1150 offers compatibility with various types of input configurations to address wide range of high-power
applications. WLC1150 supports systems with input power supplied by either USB PD/PPS or fixed input from DC
power supply. The IC supports these input configurations, without requiring a front-end DC-DC converter and this
helps in achieving significant system efficiency gain, which is an important performance aspect of high-power
system. WLC1150 offers many programmable features for creating distinct wireless transmitter solutions.
WLC1150 is a highly programmable wireless power transmitter with an on-chip 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0
processor, 128 KB flash, 16 KB RAM, and 32 KB ROM. The device also includes various analog and digital
peripherals such as ADC, PWMs, and timers. The inclusion of a fully programmable MCU with analog and digital
peripherals enable scalable wireless charging solutions.
