Description
The 610VE panel’s VSYS option adds
emergency voice evacuation capabilities
to the IdentiFlex 610 (IF610) analog ad-
dressable Fire Alarm Control Panel
(FACP).
• Four-minute message capacity.
• Digital prerecorded voice evacua-
tion messages.
The VSYS options are integrated in the
same housing as the IF610, delivering
dependable performance in an attractive
cabinet design.
• Paging microphone with override.
• All-call function.
VSYS systems provide prerecorded digi-
tal alert messages, all-call, and indi-
vidual control-by-circuit (microphone).
• Single or multiple speaker
circuits (up to eight Class A or
eight Class B maximum).
The emergency voice evacuation capa-
bility of the IF610 is used to provide pre-
recorded natural-voice messages (VEX)
and emergency paging to facilitate or-
derly evacuation of protected areas.
Voice evacuation systems are frequently
required by the Authority Having Jurisdic-
tion (AHJ) for areas of assembly such as

The VSYS includes a three-minute message restart, which occurs automatically after
a three-minute depression of the microphone key when the digital messaging op-
tion is used.
The VSYS Emergency Voice Evacuation System may also be ordered with multiple
speaker-circuit configurations. Circuit-splitter modules allow the amplifier power to
be divided among multiple zones for efficient use and controlled zone signaling.
Splitter modules are equipped with circuit-select switches that allow for manual
selection of voice evacuation zones for emergency paging. An LED is provided for
annunciation of each zone’s status.
Enclosures can house up to 200 watts of amplification, a paging microphone, digital
voice messaging, and one or two circuit-splitter modules for up to eight Class B (Style
Y) or up to four Class A (Style Z) circuits. Circuits are rated at 25 watts each. VSYS
provides an integral battery charger for its dedicated batteries. Supervised remote
microphones are supported by the system. Speaker circuits are controlled by indi-
vidual toggle switches. A circuit identification label is provided for field-customized
circuit labeling.
