General Description

The uP8011 is a highly integrated single-cell battery charger. Complete Charger for 1-Cell Li-ion Batteries

Few external component requirement and space saving

TSOT package are more suitable for portable device.

1%Voltage Accuracy

Programmable Charge Current from 50mA to

The uP8011 battery charger with a trickle-charging (1/10

programmed charge current) when the battery voltage is

lower than 2.8V. The charger works at constant current

800mA

Automatic Trickle Charging of Low Voltage Cells

mode when the battery voltage is between 2.8V and 4.2V. Charge Status indicator

The charge current is programmable from 50mAto 800mA

by an external resistor. It works at constant voltage mode

when the battery voltage is 4.2V.

When the input voltage is removed, uP8011 automatically

enters to sleep mode, and the battery drain current drops

to 2uA. The uP8011 draws only 25uA when it operates in

shutdown mode.
