Features

General Description

uG3105 monitors the battery parameters including voltage, § High Speed I²C Interface up to 3.4MHz

current, internal temperature and provides coulomb

§ Monitor Li-ion / Li-Polymer / LiFePO4 Battery

counter feature for mobile devices to be able to obtain

battery remain capacity information in order to well control

the usage of the battery.

§ Coulomb Counter with 16bit ADC, +/- 250mV

Input Voltage Range

uG3105 also supports external temperature and gpio

control.

§ Internal 32768 Hz OSC Clock Frequency.

§ Internal Temperature Measurement Support

§ Support Low Current Auto-Sleep Mode

uG3105 embeds a 16-bit ADC. With typical 20 milliohms

external resistor sensor, UG3105 can provide current

measurement up to 12.5A and supports the capacity

accumulation up to +/-7000mAh with a resolution of

0.4mAh.

§ Open-Drain GPIO1, GPIO2, GPIO3 Support

(optional)

The external resistor sensor range can be from 5 milliohms

to 20 milliohms depending on requirement. Related

parameters can be easily defined by firmware change.

§ External Temperature Measurement Support

§ 8-Byte Unique Device ID

System can read and write uG3105 through the I²C

interface. uG3105 provides I²C normal, fast speed and

high speed modes.

§ Low Power Operating Modes:

¢ Active Mode: 100uA (typically)

¢ Standby Mode: 30uA (typically)

¢ Power Down Mode: 10uA (typically)
