description  
The TRF96001 device is a highly integrated 2.4-GHz RF transceiver. Together with TI’s various baseband (BB)  
devices, it forms a complete standalone 2.4-GHz wireless communication system.  
The TRF96001 device incorporates a single conversion receiver with a dual-gain low-noise amplifier (LNA),  
image reject mixer (IRM), local oscillator (LO), limiting amplifier, received signal strength indicator (RSSI)  
output, quadrature detector, and adaptive bit slicer. The TRF96001 device also incorporates a single digital line  
I/Q modulator, phase-locked loops (PLLs), TX amplifier with gain control and ramping, power down circuitry,  
and voltage regulators.
