FEATURES
DESCRIPTION
•
Low Dropout Voltage
300mV at IOUT = 150mA
The TPS7A6201 is a low dropout linear voltage
regulator designed for low power consumption and
quiescent current less than 25 µA in light load
applications. This device features an integrated over-
current protection, and is designed to achieve stable
operation even with low-ESR ceramic output
capacitors. The output voltage can be programmed
using external resistors. Low voltage tracking feature
allows for a smaller input capacitor and can possibly
eliminate the need of using a boost converter during
cold crank conditions. Because of these features, this
device is well suited in power supplies for various
automotive applications.
