SURGE SUPPRESSOR MODULE (MIL-STD-1399)

This rugged, high power module is capable of protecting sensitive electrical systems from high-

energy transients and over-voltage power surges in either direction.

Features:

 460KW Power Handling Capacity across L-N

 Very Fast Response < 1 nsec

 Bi-Polar Protection

 Rugged Epoxy Construction

 Internally Hermetically Sealed

 Suitable for PCB or Panel Mounting

 Protects both Common and Differential Mode Transients

 No Limitation on Load Current capability

SCP-5425A: with threaded terminals

Applications:

● Module is specifically designed for direct connection to 120V AC single phase systems.

Operating Conditions:

 Line Voltage (L-N): 100VAC ~ 150VAC, 50Hz~440Hz, Single Phase

Source Impedance: L-N: 2 Ohms min

N-G: 12 Ohms min

L-G: 12 Ohms min

Surge and Clamp Protection:

The following data apply to all 3 pairs: L-N, L-E and N-E, unless otherwise specified

 Breakdown Voltage: V_Z:Minimum 233V, Maximum 258V (Measured @ 25°C @ 5mA)

 Operating Temperature: -40°C to 85°C

 Storage Temperature: -55°C to 125°C
