POWER MANAGEMENT

Features

Description

The SC42ꢀ7 is a 3A, high performance LDO designed for

use in applications requiring very low input voltage and

very low dropout voltage. It operates with an input volt-

age as low as ꢀ.8V and a programmable output voltage

from ꢀ.24V. The SC42ꢀ7 features ultra- low dropout, ideal

for applications where V_OUTis very close to V_IN. Addi-

tionally, the SC42ꢀ7 has an enable pin to further reduce

power dissipation while shut down. The SC42ꢀ7 provides



Input voltage range from ꢀ.8V to 5.5V

Typical 300mV dropout @ 3A

Adjustable output from ꢀ.24V

Over-current and over-temperature protection

Enable pin

ꢀ0µA shutdown current

Full industrial temperature range

TO263-5 package, fully WEEE and RoHS compliant

excellent regulation over line, load and temperature.

Applications

The SC42ꢀ7 is available in a TO263-5 package and is fully

WEEE and RoHS compliant.


