R1514x SERIES (Preliminary)

OUTLINE

The R1514x series are CMOS-based positive voltage regulator (VR) ICs. The R1514xxxxxx has features of

high input voltage operating, high output voltage accuracy and ultra-low supply current. A peak current limit

circuit, a short current limit circuit, and a thermal shutdown circuit are built in the R1514x series.

The regulator output voltage is fixed in the R1514xxxxB. Output voltage accuracy is ±2.0%.

Since the packages for these ICs are the SOT-89-5 and HSOP-6J, high density mounting of the ICs on boards

is possible.

2.0V to 12.0V(xxxB)

• Ultra-Low Supply Current.............................................Typ. 9.0µA

• Input Voltage.................................................................Max. 36.0V

• Output Current..............................................................Min. 150mA (V^IN=VOUT+3.0V; 5V Output type)

• Built-in Peak Current Limit Circuit, Short Current Limit Circuit, Thermal Shutdown Circuit

• Packages......................................................................SOT-89-5, HSOP-6J

• Operating Temperature ................................................-40°C to 105°C

APPLICATIONS

• Power source for home appliances such as refrigerators, rice cookers, electoric water warmers, etc.
