Description

• Near-Zero propagation delay

Pericom Semiconductor’s PI5C16861 is conﬁgured as a 20-bit, 2-

port bus switch designed with a low On-Resistance (5Ω) allowing

inputstobeconnecteddirectlytooutputs.Thebusswitchcreatesno

additionalpropagationaldelayoradditionalgroundbouncenoise.The

switches are turned ON by the Bus Enable (BEx) input signal.

• 5Ω or 25Ω switches connect inputs to outputs

• Direct bus connection when switches are ON

• 32X384 function with ﬂow through pinout make board layout

easier

The PI5C162861 device has a built-in 25Ω series resistor to reduce

noise resulting from reﬂections, thus eliminating the need for an

external terminating resistor.

• Ultra-low quiescent power (0.2 µA typical) – ideally suited

for notebook applications

• Industrial operating temperature: –40°C to +85°C

• Packaging (Pb-free & Green available):

– 48-pin 240-mil wide plastic TSSOP (A)

– 48-pin 300-mil wide plastic SSOP (V)

– 48-pin 150-mil wide plastic BQSOP (B)
