Fully Bi-directional USB4 Re-Timer with multi-protocol support
for PC and Peripheral Applications
KM864741 is multi-protocol bidirectional Re-Timer for USB Type-CⓇ connector, which can transmit and
receive up to 40 Gb/s. It can support the USB4Ⓡ, ThunderboltTM 3 compatibility, USB 3.2, DisplayPortTM 2.1,
and DisplayPortTM Alt Mode, so can be used as a PC Re-Timer solution that supports USB4 backward
compatibility and peripheral standards. The receiving end is equipped with an adaptive equalizer that can
compensate for signal loss up to 35 dB, and the transmitting end is equipped with an emphasis circuit that
can compensate for up to 15 dB. This relaxes the restrictions on the placement of USB Type-C connectors
and CPU, therefore, allows customers to flexibly design mother boards and provides good interoperability.
