General Description

• The converter has been realized as a single 8-Bit DAC.

• 1.5 mA at 5 V power-down to 200 nA at 5 V.

• The converter is operated by one single power supply.

• Guaranteed monotonic by design.

The DAC08R02 is a single, 8-bit, fully decoded, resistive

voltage DAC that operates from a single +4.5 V to +5.5 V

supply. The converter is capable of word rates of 200

KSPS. Its on-chip precision output ampliﬁer allows a rail-

to-rail output swing to be achieved.

• Reference is derived from the power supply. Power-on-

reset to zero volts.

The DAC08R02 utilizes an 8 line parallel interface that

operates at clock rates up to 200 kHz.

• On-chip output buffer ampliﬁer, rail-to-rail operation.

The reference for DAC08R02 is derived from the power

supply inputs. This allows utilizing the widest dynamic

output range possible.
