Micro-Fit 3.0 Overmolded Cable Assemblies are
designed to meet the need for a high contact-density
connector for signal or power applications. Available in
2, 4, 6 and 10 circuit sizes and 1, 3 and 5 meter
lengths, the assemblies incorporate an overmolded
strain relief mechanism for reduced mechanical stress.
The double-ended cable assemblies are capable of
carrying 5 amperes of current. The housing features
fully isolated contacts on each side of the connection,
offering electrical and mechanical protection to the
terminals. The overmolded strain relief reduces the
mechanical stress on the wires and terminals during
the mating and un-mating cycles. A positive latch on
the housing prevents accidental disconnection caused
by rough handling.
These Overmolded Cable Assemblies complement the
broad line of Molex’s Micro-Fit 3.0 offerings. With
more than 500 part numbers and still growing, this
expansive product line offers through hole and SMT
options. SMT versions are available in tape and reel
packaging for robotic placement on the PCB.
