Description

Smart Battery Isolators are smaller, lighter, and more

ﬂexible than traditional battery isolators, which makes

them efﬁcient automotive battery management solutions.

They work with all alternator types and generate less heat.

In addition, there is no diode efﬁciency loss with Smart

Battery Isolators, and they offer reduced charging system

workload by not connecting the auxiliary battery until the

primary battery is charged to 13.2 V. The lower strain on

expensive charging components extends their useful life.

These Smart Battery Isolators also allow bi-directional

charging from an alternator or from a shore or campground

power charger/converter when available.

Features and Beneﬁts

• Simple installation allows you to easily connect a starting

battery and auxiliary battery.

• Available with a continuous current rating of 85 A or 200 A

• LED status indicator shows you whether the solenoid relay

inside the Smart Battery Isolator is open or closed

• Optional Start Assist is activated by a momentary switch

that allows the auxiliary battery to assist the starting

battery
