The EIMAC 3CW40,000A7 is a ceramic/metal

power triode designed for use as a high power

RF ampliﬁer for industrial and scientiﬁc applica-

tions. The high-Mu grid in this tube provides

excellent isolation and permits stable operation

as a grounded grid linear ampliﬁer in class AB or

B. With simple cathode bias the tube operates in

class C for high efﬁciency. Its water-cooled anode

has a maximum dissipation rating of 40 kilowatts.
