• Material Handling

The 32V 250A ADR Magnetic Battery Disconnect Switch

Series comes as either a base battery isolator switch or as

a complete kit with an ATmospheres EXplosible (ATEX)-

compliant chassis switch, cabin toggle switch, switch

protection cover, and harnesses.

Features and Beneﬁts

• Designed speciﬁcally for ADR (Accord Dangereux

Routier) applications

• Can be used for non-ADR applications that can utilize

a programmable disconnect time delay (between 1

second and 1 hour)

Magnetic bi-stable retention means this battery disconnect

switch uses a minimum current when it is turned on and

zero current when is off. The magnetic ON-OFF position

absorbs current only during the commuting phase: when

switched from (OFF) to (ON) and vice versa. This is

• Continuous current rating of 250A, intermittent current

rating of 1000A for 30 seconds, and short circuit rating

of 2000A for 5 seconds

generally referred to as “bistable with zero consumption.”

While this magnetic cutoff switch is designed speciﬁcally

for ADR (Accord Dangereux Routier) applications, it

can be used for non-ADR applications that can utilize a

programmable disconnect time delay (between 1 second

and 1 hour).

• Protected against dust and water IP67/X9K standards

• Single-pole, single-throw (SPST) circuitry

• 12-24V coil rating

• Integrated 7-way DIN connector

• 2A auxiliary contact
