Description

For high-powered commercial vehicle applications, where

individual fuse holders may be inefﬁcient or leave the fuse

connections exposed to the elements, a sealed, multi-fuse

holder like the MDB5 Series MEGA^®& MIDI^®Fuse Power

Distribution Box may be a better, more cost-effective

choice.

Features and Beneﬁts

• 5-way fuse holder accepts 2 MEGA^®and 3 MIDI^®

bolt-down fuses rated between 30A and 500A (fuses

sold separately)

This 5-way power distribution box is designed with a

sealed enclosure that protects the fuse connections from

the corrosive conditions typically found in the battery box

or under the hood. In addition, cable seals or plugs can be

added to achieve IP67 and IP69K ratings, ultimately turning

the fuse holder into a dust-tight and waterproof fuse box

for use in the harshest environments.

• Dual, conﬁgurable inputs allow for up to 400A

continuous current and for ﬂexibility between high- and

low-current applications

• Models are available for both standard voltage (32V

fuses) and 48V+ applications (70V fuses)

With dual, conﬁgurable inputs, the MDB5 Series power

distribution box enables ﬂexibility between high- and low-

current applications and up to 400A continuous current. To

meet the requirements of both standard voltage vehicles

and 48V+ applications, the MDB5 Series is available in

conﬁgurations that accept 32V or 70V MEGA^®and MIDI^®

bolt-down fuses.

• Sealed enclosure protects all of the fuse connections,

enabling circuit protection installation in corrosive

environments, such as the battery box or under the hood

• IP67/IP69K waterproof, dust-tight rating can be achieved

with the use of cable seals or plugs

• Poke-Yoke mounting pattern for easy assembly
