Speciﬁcations Overview

Flanges:

Two oval ﬂange mounting holes permit

secure mounting. 0.328” (8.38mm) by

0.488” (12.40mm), 2.93” (74.55mm)

on center.

Standards:

Conforms to SAE J560b, ATA, RCCC

(RP-102), FMVSS-121, FIEI, TTMA (RP#

40-73) recommendations and standards.

Description

Long-lasting glass-ﬁber reinforced plastic stands up to

rugged conditions, cannot rust, and has an extended life.

Color-fast bright green plastic is easy to recognize as an ABS

component. Solid brass terminals provide superior electrical

contact, and hold the plug securely in place. Ground terminal

accepts wire up to 8AWG, other terminals up to 10AWG.

Socket conforms to SAE performance standards (J560b).

Spring-loaded door is prominently markedTRAILER ABS

in white, to further reduce opportunity for misconnection.

When the plug is not in use, the socket door closes tightly to

exclude road-splash and other pollutants. The door extends

beyond the socket, to give added protection to the interior.

Inner ridge locks over the edge of the socket and the

terminal screws. Gives added protection to the wiring

at the back of the socket. Also fits Littlefuse sockets

12063, 12063-01, 12077-01, 12080, 12080-01, 12080-

11 and other 7-pole sockets of comparable design.

Features and Beneﬁts

• Wiring codes: Embossed on the insulator to assist in

correct wiring of the socket.

Plated steel. Accepts all ATA, SAE, TTMA

seven-pole sockets and 6- and 4-pole sockets of

comparable design.

Resilient Neoprene rubber. Also fits Littlefuse

sockets 12063, 12063-01, 12077-01, 12080,

12080-01, 12080-11 and other 7-pole sockets of

comparable design.

Heavy duty aluminum. Securely anchors 4- 6- and

7-pole sockets that do not have circuit breakers. Allows

installation of fuse block or terminal block in the rear.

Eliminates the need for cutting a socket mounting

hole in the trailer. For 4- 6- and 7-pole sockets

without circuit breakers. Heavy bosses can be

driled and tapped.
